They just take them no money back, or if you got the Pro's, refund $110.

The loophole that we're seeing is a refund on the value of the AP at $219.

Wasn't there a guy earlier in the thread mad the Apple store just took them lol. They're pretty easy to sell, my friend just did that with his.

YMMV based on the store, as @tallshorty received a full refund of $368 on the Pros.

Past the 80 day grace period for the drop promo and now they're not responding at all.

I just received my Macbook Pro and returned my airpods when I placed the order about a month ago. I got the refund for the airpods, and kept the discount on the Macbook. It's YMMV, but definitely worth a shot. Originally I was denied, but I spoke to a rep who was able to override it for me.

What are the chances for the aeroplane or airmiles promo to be back before the end of this?

Delays in Macbook Pro delivery lately. Available for next-day pickup though.

Thanks to my pathetic credit limit, I will now have to call and place the order, and ask the representative to split the payment across two cards. Means I don't get extended warranty either as the whole charge is not made to one card (wouldn't matter any way because I am going with Apple Care).

Got an ipad pro 11" ytd. Returned the AirPods Pro today. Receipt shows return for the full amount, iPad was discounted 219$, but will wait until the refund hits my CC statement before I celebrate.

All in all, paid 110$ for 329$ in discounts pre-tax. Not bad going.

Small Edit: Assuming educational discount and that you can return the AirPods Pro like I did, the iPad Pro 11-inch, 256 GB, Wifi/LTE works out to be 1090$, which is 1$ more than the newest yet-unreleased iPad Air 256GB Wifi/LTE at 1089$.

Face ID ultimately tipped the balance for me.

Isn’t $219 the cost for just the base AirPods. Shouldn’t you get that $110 back as well? I assume you upgraded to the AirPod Pros for that amount.

Currently, Kijiji is flooded with Airpods 2 asking $180-$200 in the GTA.

I'm not sure there's that much demand. Perhaps if priced at $150.

You do get the 110$ back as well, assuming the refund is for the entire amount. Given the receipt shows a refund of 329+tax, there is no reason why it shouldn't be.

I submitted a customer support ticket. They responded by saying that my purchase was not tracked. I sent them the invoice, screenshots, and screen recording of me purchasing via the Drop app. Haven't heard from them in two days but they said they were backed up.

Finally placed an order for the MBP; but it'll arrive only between Oct 21-28 (was available for pick up same day, but I'm happy to wait). The AirPods should arrive in a week, though.

Not sure if the return window will be good enough for me to see the launch of the new Macbooks; anyway, quite excited nonetheless :)
