Yes there's been multiple people in this thread and the old ones that have said that.

If it was actually a given that it worked and not a huge YMMV it'd be plastered all over this thread and the rest of the forums because it would easily be one of the best discounts you could get on a current-gen iPad.

Ivanhoe owned malls have a deal where if you purchase a $250 gift card you get a free $25 gift card bonus card. I purchased my gift cards at Conestoga Mall. I bought 4 gift cards worth $1000 and got a total of $100 bonus cards for free. I went to the apple store and got the Macbook Air with the education pricing.

Shopping.ca has the list of the malls.

The total came to $1220 after tax and with Airpods. Ended up selling the Airpods for $180 as I don't need them.

Price Breakdown:

$1169 plus tax for the Macbook Air = $1320.97

Bought four gift cards for $1000 and got $100 free = $1100
Pay the remaining balance = $1320.97 - $1100
= $220.97

Total spent $1000 + $220.97 = $1220.97

I'm new to Aeroplan (and the Miles point system, really) and would appreciate any help. So, I received my Aeroplan Points recently; but, is there a way to confirm the math? I searched online and only see calculators for flight trips.

I purchased three items:

(1) AirPods Pro (later sold for $300, yay)
(2) Apple Pencil, 2nd gen
(3) iPad Pro 12.9 w/ Apple Care

Subtotal: 1,557.00 before tax (1,557.00 * 7 = 11,039 Aeroplan Miles)
Total: 1,759.41 after tax (1,759.41 * 7 = 12,315.87 Aeroplan Miles)

Received (329 + 1,228) before inquiry
Received additional (7,368 + 1974) after inquiry
Total: 10,899 Aeroplan Miles

Shouldn't the amount be close to the ranges above, in bold? I think I saw someone mention base points in this thread but I didn't include it my calculations.

It was super easy to return the Airpods. No hassle at all. Had the refund within 48 hrs to my CC. Don't know what you guys are all talking about. The ones saying can't do it probably never even tried and the ones that were successful in returning it probably are keeping quiet Face With Tears Of Joy

The hope is they get announced + posted online for preorder before this promo ends, but we'll see. Still got almost 4 weeks!
Who knows...Apple is relatively good at keeping their launches secret. I just wish they had some iPad Pro 12.9 available. I can't find them anywhere.

Is it likely Aeroplan will have something like 7x miles before this promo ends?

I just called Apple and tried to return the AirPods Pro I received when I bought my new iMac for an additional $110.
Some posts say you get $219 + tax or $329 + tax back. That is WRONG. Apple representative said all you get back is the $110 that you paid to upgrade to the pros.
You would be crazy to send them back. Your better off selling them.

It appears in-store returns are more successful.

Does anyone know how to maximize this offer currently? Is there still an aeroplans promotion? Asking as my little brother is entering University and is looking at a Macbook Air or Pro. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Nothing new, just hold off until the last hour and see if something comes up.
