IMHO i'm glad i didn't wait for this BTS deal when the Costco deal happened back in March. I got 2 MBA's and was able to get $250 off each plus the additional year warranty (Apple care was also cheaper). I don't have a need for any of the accessories/items listed in the BTS promo so just being able to get the discount upfront worked better for me.

🎁 Many shoppers are disappointed this year, preferring the gift card bonuses of previous years over the included accessories like AirPods or Apple Pencils. Members found the resale value of the free items to be low.
🍎 This deal still offers Apple's education pricing, which is considered a good value for those new to the Apple ecosystem.
💻 Community members suggest alternatives like refurbished Apple products or purchases from Costco for a similar price, often with an extra year of warranty and cashback opportunities.
🚫 The Mac Mini is notably excluded from this promotion, a letdown for many who were hoping for a deal on that model.

2022/3: BOC raised 10 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017,2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

Most credit cards will extend the manufacturer's warranty by 1 year (if not more) anyway.pstnn2 wrote: ↑ where can I read more about this 2nd warranty year? I wasn't able to find anything on costco.ca, apart from this : https://www.costco.ca/computer-extended-warranty.html

Many will but I wouldn’t say most.vader_slri wrote: ↑ Most credit cards will extend the manufacturer's warranty by 1 year (if not more) anyway.
Anyhow I just ordered the refurb M3 16/512 GB for $1329 from Apple. M3 16/256 is $1079.
I won’t get the extended credit card warranty though, since it’s a refurb.

Do you guys know how the billing works for this? I did this promo in the years past but I can't find the invoice
The reason I ask is that I can expense the cost of the device, but if they reduce the price of the device by the cost of the accessory....I will actually get less money since I can't expense the accessory.
If anybody orders a device....I would like to see how the invoice breaks down
Maybe they do it differently now to keep people from gaming the system and returning the accessory

Something like this one, you can draw you can write on iPad no problem.
Big but, if your daughter has higher standards, get the official ones with pressure sensors, it can control the strokes, which would be important for artists

As usual, wait for 7-10x Aeroplan or 10-20x AirMiles before purchasing if you plan on using this deal. Use the time in between to acquire discounted apple gift cards, via BST forums or the 10% back via PC Optimum type deals.

Holy crap, somehow this worked out for me!
I pulled the trigger on the Costco deal (base Macbook Air M4) two weeks back and worried I'd made a mistake. But looking at this, I think I lucked into doing the right thing. Yes, technically, I could get this offer for the M4 (paying $10 more for the laptop), then try to liquidate the earbuds (I wouldn't keep them) and after the extra time and effort walk away with an extra $150 - $200, but I don't feel too bad about how this all worked out.

Hmmm. Spoke too soon. Refurbished is not covered for my extended warranty for my Rogers credit card but it might be covered by my Amex.
