[Apple] Back in stock - Apple Refurbished iPad Wi-Fi 32GB - Silver only $319

This was posted last week but went out of stock quickly, however Apple did replenish stock a few times and i managed to snag one after randomly checking for stock the next afternoon. Picked it up from Apple at yorkdale as I wanted to add applecare. Comes repackaged in an iPad referb box and shrink wrapped. Looks new tbh. Anyway great deal for a 2017 model that's pretty much the same as the 2018 minus a sligh bump on performance. Silver showing back in stock. If it goes out of sale again just check back later or next day, silver seems to be trickling in, no idea how many there are right now. Goodluck!

I grabbed the 128gb one for $419 last night. It was only in stock briefly and hasn’t reappeared. I’ve been watching for some time now.

It is for my 13 yr old, who is coming from a 1st generation mini. He will be fine. I read the comparisons before purchasing and decided by the time I bought an Otterbox and maybe AppleCare it would be pushing $700 for the 2018, which is more than I’m willing to spend, especially on a teenager.

Thanks OP. Needed an excuse to finally use an Apple gift card that I got after “recycling” an older iPad.

Why is recycling in quotations?

So with an older iPad, you can get an Apple gift card for it? Or is this something illegal?

Not illegal. It was through the Apple recycling program. I used quotes because it’s not recycling in the true sense of the word - more like re-using.

There's a $30 activation fee..
if you buy the tablet outright, without a plan, there is no 30 activation fee
or you can try to PM at BB.

Don’t buy the data plan, just buy the tablet out right. People have done it successfully.

Around 38% performance improvements for the 2018 model vs 2017. Is it worth the additional $100 or so.. Confused Face
Apple invented random percentage numbers every keynote. It's definitely better than the last one, but I don't think you'll see much of a difference when you browse the web or go anything.

Any 2017 iPad case recommendations? I was thinking otterbox but it is really heavy. However, my son needs one that can survive school, travel, etc. I’m thinking this Targus. I tried it at London Drugs and it’s got this cool hand strap.

Targus...
