I probably should return my iPad Pro 11 as I feel like I'd be losing out on what they'd offer for Black Friday even if it's just gift cards.

Apple's stock has been battered due to slowing growth. I would make a bet that this Boxing Day is going to be a very big one.

iPad Pro 10.5 for one should be getting at least $150-$200 gift card.

I doubt the new iPad Pro will get anything. I’m hoping though, even if it’s just a $100 gift card. Would discount price of the pencil.

Apple usually does not do much in Boxing day as it is only in Canada.

I don't remember what they have in last year's black friday.

Also, didn't see those 10x aeroplan miles or 10x airmile deals this year as well?

Depending on the  product you purchase. Most likely a gift card ranging from $50-200.
This essentially would help cover the cost of AppleCare+ as the prices have gone up due to the consistent bashing of the CAD against USD.

Last year was $140CAD in gift card for iPad Pro..granted last year price was still $860..

Also, in Best Buy USA, few weeks ago iPad Pro 10.5 was discounted by $160USD.... so all signs pointing to at the very least $150-$200CAD gift card for last years iPad Pro.

I think this would male the iPad Pro 10.5 a much more attractive option that the newer sibling, the 11 inch - for essentially the same product + headphone jack!

didn't pay much attention to last year's apple gift card deals... any idea if there is a possibility refurbished stuff would qualify for gift card? (i'm about 98% sure it's not, but just thought I ask... :P)

It's going to be iTunes or App Store gift cards. We all know this. The deals at retailers are much better.

Best Buy is having $80 off the iPad -- which means you're paying less tax as well. But be aware that Best Buy's sales on the MacBooks, if you're in the market for one, seem to be for the 2017 models and not the current ones.
