Any chance of a discount or gift card on iPhone XS outright purchases?

A quick Google search for "apple black friday 2017" shows that last year's deals were just gift cards and on older model products. Lol at thinking there would be deals on this year's iPhones.

You forget that us Apple fanboys are so deprived of sales that we hallucinate often in hopes of a deal... there’s always next year... this has to be the year... etc.

Does anyone know if the supposed gift card promo would apply with the higher education discount?

Apple's sale is live on their Australia website, so you can have a look and get a rough idea. Mostly on older hardware but also some newer peripherals like the HomePod ($70 off $499 in Australia, so I'm hoping $60 of $449 in Canada?).

Looks like there will be no gift cards on the new Pros. I returned mine and I don't even miss it lol. I won't buy it back I don't think it's worth its premium price.

On the MacBook pro or just pro? Thought I saw 2018 MBP has 240 AUD GC.

So is it better to buy from AS or from somewhere else? I was hoping to pick up the 2018 MBA or MBP.

Oops. Typo. You're right. Also see 280.

Was hoping for discount on accessories, or the newer iPhones/iPads.

What an ice cold sale.

iPad Pro 10.5 for one should be getting at least $150-$200 gift card.
It’s actually the reason they upped their prices, to make up for slow growth(also the reason they don’t report sales numbers anymore). They know their customers will still pay for the high prices. I am one of them suckers with the $1000 iPhone xr with a screen on par with the iPhone 4. So no their will not be any good deals.

Wonder if there will be any GC's on the new iPad Pro 11". Am tempted instead to just buy a used 10.5". Has anyone seen any sales or deals for either model?
