Apple Car... by 2024. Are you in?

As a massive Apple fan, I'm intrigued by the Apple Car.

It will be a big Tesla competitor and competition is always good.

So this car...

Will use it's own (overpriced) proprietary plug that no other EVs use
Will require a bunch of (overpriced) special tooling to do even basic work (Ex wiper blades) that makes even German designers blush
Will not be able to be repaired at regular shops and needs to be repaired at an (overpriced) Apple Car Repair Shop otherwise void the warranty
Will have proprietary designs so 95% of aftermarket parts are not compatible (Ex a square center hole on the wheel hub so you can't buy aftermarket rims with round center hole) so you have to buy (overpriced) Apple parts
When it breaks down, the repair will be 2/3 to 3/4 of the value of the car and the technician tells you it's better to just buy a whole new (overpriced) car
Floor mats will be sold separately because "environment"

I'm guessing the car will have fantastic resale value so I'm down to buy first year and might sell for each gen.

I'm sure it's going to be good.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Maybe. However, seeing that their new "flagship" phones are cheaper than the competition, that their new MacBooks (both Air and Pros) are cheaper than the competition, and much faster, perhaps they won't be too bad. Besides, they'll sell "AppleCare+", their extended warranty. which will give you a new car if the old one can't be fixed, along with an AppleCare+ refund.
Why can't we all just get along?

I'll put it simply...I don't like Apple especially its current iteration as a company. I'm even less thrilled about a company like this entering the realm of cars.

Would they allow Android Auto to connect to their cars?

I can imagine Apple developers and marketing team already schemed up expensive accessories for their car...considering people are paying $780 AirPods Max.

Just when you thought Tesla was the Crapple of cars comes this

But no not interested in a car (or anything else) from the most garbagy shitty company that ever existed. Just to "be different" they will surely make pushing down on the turn signal indicate a right turn and vice versa, or make the turn signal a button in a menu on a touchscreen--for ]no other reason whatsoever apart from saying it's different. Who cares if it's the dumbest thing anyone with half a brain cell could ever fathom, the fanboys will come out and say how great it is and how novel and how it's better like this blah blah

An OTA update will slow the car down to walking speeds unless you go to an Apple Store to get a new car or replace the battery.
