I just wished I didn't wait and pulled the trigger on the staples 15% off coupon that was floating around last night. A few people got the 16" MBP before staples shut it down.
Staples' web store and promotions teams really aren't on the ball, are they?

This is the second time this week where a coupon could be applied when they claim afterwards that it shouldn't have (10% on the Airpods Pro on Wednesday, and apparently 15% last night on MBPs). They're costing the company in both money (if they honour the coupon), as well as customers if they cancel orders before they're delivered/picked up.

FYI - I called in to apple support and confirmed that you CAN NOT apply the gift card to Apple Care and Apple Care +

That's a lie. You can buy it after the fact and you can use gift cards to pay for AppleCare.

They literally tell you to do that in-store.

so if i buy an imac, get the gc, then use gc to buy a macbook air, pro, but not on iphone? if this is the case, that 280 is not very attractive.

Basically you can’t use the value of the free gift card on the item you are purchasing. E.g. if you buy a $1699 MacBook Pro and get a $280 gift card, you can’t use the gift card on the $1699 MBP you are buying and pay $1419. You could use it on an iPhone in a subsequent purchase tho

too bad 16" is not eligible, and I missed 15% off last night, otherwise I would get both 16 + ip 11.

Only $70 on a two-year-old device (iphone 8)? Is this a joke?

Pretty stupid that you get no GCs for the 11's.

Anyone actually received the gift card email. I bought an iPad mini, no gift card email has been received, even it showed delivered online.

Purchased an Open Box Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS), Aluminum Steel Grey, for $350 from BB itself. Easy to return, if defective. It looked like it was never worn. The Straps were still in the box.
I first bought the Series 3. It was good but next to the Series 5 looks really old fashioned and much smaller. BTW it was Nike. I think that version is a better value. You get a few more watch faces.
