Been waiting for 3rd gen refurbs to come back in stock. Only space grey 64gb wifi version available, just pulled the trigger!
Was about to grab the 2nd gen 10.5" for $669 256gb but really wanted all the upgrades of 3rd gen (Face ID, no home button, etc. etc.) AND bigger screen, 12.9" they were enough for me to hold off til 3rd gen came back.
I'm guessing these won't last long!
