[Costco] Arcan 3-ton Professional Grade Hybrid Service Jack $149.99 online or $129.99 in-store (YMMV)

The popular Arcan 3-ton jack is on sale this week at Costco.ca @ $149.99 ($50 off) until Sunday April 3rd.

Edit: Changed thread title to reflect that some Costco carry this at a lower in-store price of $129.99 YMMV as noted by some people.

Edit 2: I returned the Torin I bought and asked the clerk to check for in-store stock on the Arcan. Few stores in Ontario have them in stock and none in Quebec where I'm from.

It use to be 140 or 150 regular price

But prices for everything went sky rocket since pandemic( specially GTA house prices)

Highly recommend this.

It is a good floor jack but it only lift up to 18.6 inches. If you have a SUV or truck you may need to get something with a higher lift.

Great jack, bought it last time it was 149.99 and returned the Torin that they sell in-store.

This was on sale on December of 2020 for $119 when I posted it back then.

It is unfortunate that price is risen so much in past year but I guess it can't be helped with the overall supply situation and inflation...

For the jack itself, it's a good jack, great for self tire changes at home. Remember to get tire chocks and stands for safe tire changes at home!

1 quick question to everyone, like are you putting the jack in the garage during the winter season? Assuming no heating system is available in the garage. or we are putting it somewhere at regular room temperature?

You can do both sides, but also just do the side where the car would normally roll. If you're on flat ground, do both.

Mine sits in a corner of my garage year round, -35°C to +35°C. Five years now, no problems. I can't think of anything temperature could affect.

Thanks! The garage has a little slope but my thoughts were let's say once the car is lifted on the front(one wheel), the car will try to move to the back, and the other way around when lifting one in the rear .

Had my Torin for 15 years or so, stays in my uninsulated, unheated garage year round.

What I like about the picture on the site is a young lady carrying that 60 lb jack like it is an empty shoe box lol, for me it's pretty heavy to lug around. I use the handle to drag the jack on wheels from the garage to the car, I'm getting old here however lol.

I own this hydraulic jack. Best investment in the world. Although price went up, for $150 in today's market, it's a steal/hot deal.

Called Barrhaven. None in stock in Ottawa, person mentioned Kingston has some in stock.

Is this lighter than the Torin?
