**ARRESTED**Moron driving on the QEW with both doors open and furniture sticking out

I don't even know what to say. The driver's test is too easy if idiots like this can get on the road. The article has dashcam video. This person is a special kind of stupid.

"It appears to show furniture sticking out of the car with the doors and trunk wide open as it's heading in to Burlington on Thursday, May 2 around the Burlington Skyway."

Lol. The wooden planks should have at least been diagonal inside the car from front passenger seat to rear seat behind the driver.
With any "reasonable" excess sticking out the front passenger window and all doors closed off course.
What kind of intelligence would make it ok to leave both back doors open while driving ?

I saw a similar video on Fail Army...my son loves that show.

There's a licence plate...it shouldn't be hard to find the driver

In their (stupid) defense... the driving test never said anything about furniture or doors!

Why is that unsafe? The drag force created on the doors should easily keep those IKEA boxes from flying out.

It's IKEA bedroom event right now. Renting a van to carry furniture home kills the deal.

Legal max width of a vehicle (ON HTA) = 2.6m
MTO highway lane width approx= 3.75m

Car in OP with both doors open appears to be more than 1 lane wide or 3.75m

That video seems to start a bit low and moves a lot for a dash cam, was Mr. Fafinski using a cellphone to take the video?

Looks like it is ready to take off. Doors spread wide open like wings.

Wrong angle for wings.

More like active aero brakes.

A solid car, easily maintainable, with cheap parts. I've seen lots of examples of them running out to 500k km's or more. Fuel economy is still pretty good by modern standards especially for a V6 if it has the 4T60 4-speed automatic.

Your point? It actually looks like its in impeccable shape. I bet the factory AC still works, 27-29 years later (I think its a 1990 or a 1991 based on the body style and wheels).

Give me one of those any day over a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, Honda, etc., of the same vintage.
