I was looking for a new guitar when I stumbled across this deal... I believe this is a good deal considering the s6 here is much more cheaper here comparing buying a second hand on kijiji... I own the s6 and i personally loved it

Highly recommend. Have a S6 and a folk from its sister company. Great guitars for the money. Prefer Seagull
/Godin brand acoustics over anything 2-3 times It’s price.

Any accessories on sale? I was lucky to find an E-guitar w/ case a couple weeks ago on the street behind where I live laying on the curb as the house was for sale. Still need to see if it works. It's a Jay Trusser I think. Sure, it's no G'n'R Slash starburst Gibson but the price was right. I need a patch cord and mini amp to see if this thing works.

Thanks OP....picked up the Seagull S6 Slim GT Acoustic Electric in Burnt Umber. I'm guessing the sale items are discontinued.

These are great guitars in general, but especially at this price for a beginner. Compared to cheaper guitars, if you don't end up using it, these are much easier to sell used and you will get most of your money back.

+1 for a great deal on a Seagull. Blows most things in this price out of the water.

FYI, I have a S6 original and the neck is a bit wider than standard, so great for people like me with bigger hands

highly recommend.

I can definitely vouch for them. Their retail location is in Newmarket, ON and I've had nothing but great experiences there. I always try to give them my business over larger retailers like L&M cause they're just such wonderful people, and it's supporting a local business.

I couldn't agree more regarding the value you get on this seagull guitars especially if you are a fan of fingerstyle/fingerpicking... the warmth and mellow sound that you will get on this guitar are outstanding and perfect for this kind of playing style... I have watched a comparison of the seagull s6 vs a gibson on youtube and on my ears the seagull won on the tone and overall sound... cheers to everyone who owns a seagull/godin guitars
