And since it seems to be an LED strip of sorts, the light is likely directionally downward and won't spread. I could be wrong but that's my guess.

Led light base caught smoke and fire after 3 month
liked the look, decent level of brightness. But after 3 months one day the flight turned off and on every hour or so on its own. Before I could take a look it started sparking and smoking at the base. I was lucky to be home or it could have lead to a house fire. Upon removal I noticed the LED driver case was black and burnt

replaced my boob light above kitchen sink. Bright enough and happy with it

anyone else think they look super ugly? lol

Saw this a few months ago at the warehouse and it was selling for $99.

Honestly I think it's a great price and looks super modern. Unfortunately the house I'm living in isn't modern so this won't fit well.

You will need specific interior to pull this off otherwise it will look out of the place

Looks like a rectangular junction box and requiring a recessed cavity whereas most are round. I see some challenges in installing this thing - modifications likely required.
