Asphalt Driveway Paving Co Recommendations

It's pretty well time to replace/repave my driveway (standard subdivision double drive that can accommodate 4 vehicles parked 2 x 2).
I last had it paved in 1996 and it has lasted till now because I paid a few hundred extra to get an extra inch of compressed asphalt when it was done i.e. 4 inches loose compressed to 3.

Anyone got any paving recommendations or stories?

I am in the GTA.

Avoid King Star, they lay it very thin (thinner then it was even!) and both have bad raveling within less then a year on both of the two driveways I've seen done in Burlington and Oakville and are just getting worse (folks and friends place, folks place is even starting to get uneven already!)...

FYI, having a thicker base is better than getting more asphalt.
