Assembly help for Weber spirit ii e-210?

Finally got around to setting mine up and near the end that angled triangular grate piece that sits in the bottom middle of the grill base, does it literally just sit there or what? At the rear is two "tabs" that seem like they might go on the underside, but they do not want to fit!

Any guidance/pictures for this step?

It's the spirit ii e-210

Do you have a handy neighbour that could help? I'd certainly come over to help if you needed. A beer would be a nice way to say thanks.

Could you take a pic of the part your stuck at? Would help us and your self diagnose the problem.

Attached the photos

As you can see it looks like it's sitting in there right, but there is a gap at the back, and those metal tabs sticking out the bottom seem like they should go under, but they are spaced too wide to fit the hole?

Weber support is really good. Send them a pic, or ask them what it should look like.

That piece is the heat deflector. It just sits in the bottom like your 1st picture. The front 2 tabs just sits in the 2 little slots in the bottom of the bbq. Google Weber Spirit II e210 heat deflector and click on images to compare your install.
here's a video from Weber showing how to clean the bbq... and how the deflector sits (around 1:59 and 2:49)

Thanks for the clarification all! Just seemed like it should "slot in" more solidly than it does, ah well! :)

Did my first BBQ last night... now on to BBQ maintenance, and I still need to get a cover for it!

Congrats on the Q. My Weber S320 is 12 this year and has never been covered (still in a1 shape). My Dad covers the one I bought at the cottage and I swear it encourages mice to live in it in the winter. I BBQ a lot at home, not much in the winter at the cottage though.
