FYI, in my part to tarnish ASUS rep 18 dollars worth:
I bought this router 45 days ago. It went into a bootloop and could not be rescued after I unplugged it while it was running(no firmware update was in process).

Asus made me pay for shipping to RMA the item. The router worked very well it's just that I expect a little more out of a 2-300 dollar router. I won't be buying Asus again.

Edit: If my RMA works for 2-3 years.. The 230 I spent will have been worth it.

Seems like historical low !
It appears so, as $199.99 (not including coupons) has been the normal sale price.

I thought none of the retailers would be price matching this upcoming weekend? Isn’t that part of their BF/BW holiday policy?
Did they state black Friday week sales or black Friday day sales? I've been wondering about that too. A lot of these places are having preblack Friday sales and stuff it would be hard for BB to refuse the PM. Just noted 23rd-25th only yeah that's scary, could be a challenge.

I highly recommend upgrading to Merlin (smallnetbuilder dot com). The firmware is highly customizable and frequently updated. Rock solid performance.

If only Merlin worked with AiMesh as well, but that code is proprietary. I kinda want to keep SSH.

Dead folks?
Hasn't started, it's on the Black Friday flyer.

And I highly doubt the PM will work.
