This laptop sucks... returned my asus tp500la ($300 @ Microsoft store during boxing week) because of stuck keys... turns out to be an issue, among many other Wi-Fi and screen issues, according to Amazon.com reviews.

So yeah, return this POS regardless of where you got it from and how cool the story was, bro.

Thanks op. You gave me motivation to sell mine for $380 today. Only bought it for $300 plus tax just because it was on sale and had no real use for it. It's been Collecting dust since.

Going to return to MS Store shortly.

Taking a positive view, thanks OP for contributing to retailer profitability. If every transaction were a RFD hot deal, there might be less retailers around to supply hot deals.

Price aside, this laptop is a really poor design. I have no clue what Asus was thinking of by incorporating a flip feature into a brick. What is the use of an extremely overweight tablet?

FWIW I've had no issues with the stuck keys or wifi. The screen is not great, but for $300 I am not returning it. People quote reviews like they are the holy gospel, take everything with a grain of salt.
