Did anyone who switched (specifically from an existing ATCO Energy plan) receive their $50 credit yet? I didn’t see it on my first bill though I do see the $0.03 and $3.00 rates for most of the month.
I haven't seen the $50 credit yet either

Showed up on my bill dated December 11 as "Nov 17 Early Bird Credit". I'm not sure why Nov 17th, as I signed up Nov 9th & the new rates were effective for me as of Nov 13th (bill doesn't cycle on the 17th, either). I was previously on Atco's variable rates for both gas & electricity.

Simply not true:

And as you see the gas price is cheaper variable in the summer months, we you don't use any gas.

And here's the one for floating electricity:

Roger21 I'm not sure where you are getting your prices but these are the regulated rates I see. Feb 18 and Nov 18 are the only months over $2 this year. https://www.directenergyregulatedservic ... ical-rates

I did the online chat this morning and they assured me that the credit is on my account and will show up on my next bill. (Basically 2 months after sign-up.)

Odd. maybe it's just timing. I got it on the first bill.

And looking at my most recent easymax bill from enmax, I see gas charges of the following:
Sep 29 - 30 = $2.2498
Oct 1 - 31 = $1.504086
Nov 1 - 6 = $1.489634
And you have to tack the transaction fee of $0.99 on each of those.

So basically floating between $2.48 and $3.25 on that one bill.
Previous bill was about $2.4

Summer bills before that were lower obviously.

I'm thinking I'll cancel gas at the end of summer once enmax prices drop back down below $3.
not sure yet. need to decide if $150 cancellation fee up front is worth it.

Yea that's what mine says too. Specifically Nov 17.
Maybe people signing up now don't get it?

Anyone know if atco preauth credit card charges show up as "recurring bills" with Tangerine? (Enmax charges didn't)
I paid my first bill manually but trying to decide which credit card to configure subsequent payments on.

Anyone who signed up before Nov 12 is supposed to receive the credit. I switched on Nov 5, but perhaps not everyone's credits got applied on their next bill for whatever reason.

I emailed them and they said I would get the credit next bill. Have to remind them I guess.
