have any current ATCO customers been able to "convince" the sales rep to give them the $50 credit?

No convincing needed for me. I switched from variable rates & the rep said I'd also be receiving a $50 bill credit without even asking. It showed up on my December bill, but from other comments it sounds like it'll be showing up on the January bill for some. If you haven't signed up yet, I'd suspect it won't show until February.

I just signed up as a new customer and confirmed the $50 credit. I hope this will net me some savings over my previous bills with Just Energy.

Interesting to see the massive spike in Electricity and Gas prices recently. Electricity hitting above 10.6c per kw/h and gas market price reaching $4.85/GJ this past week.

Sure glad mine is CAPPED at 3c and $3 respectively.

Just got an email from Atco, that the Feb rates would have been:

10.61 cents / KWh and $3.75 / GJ.

I wasn't expecting to save on gas as well as electrical!

Really wish I jumped on the $0.03 & $3. Never thought NG would be higher...keep throwing on the carbon tax...........

Is variable NG still the way to go for those of us that did not sign contracts with Atco?

I missed out on 3cents deal too. It is too expensive for Feb bill . Any better deal with direct energy ?

Holy smokes, my March bill for February dates is ridiculous. I wish this offer was still available!

11.50320/kWh from Jan 30 to Feb 25 + .01/kWh. You add on all the riders and transmission/distribution and admin fees... That's like equivalent to nearly $24c/kWh for me.
NG was a more reasonable 2.9596660 for the Feb portion and 1.9686260/GJ for Jan portion.

kicking myself for the 3/3 offer.
