[Atmosphere] Osprey Men's Kestrel (68L) & Women's Kyte (66L) Backpacks $150 (50% off)

Unfortunately the additional 10% off email signup won't work with Osprey products. edit: But it does work on the Sportchek website apparently.

Men's Kestrel: https://www.atmosphere.ca/categories/ge ... olor%5D=60

Women's Kyte: https://www.atmosphere.ca/categories/ge ... olor%5D=44

Only smaller sizes left but these are great if you're a smaller build. Most reviews question the 66/8L claims, personally I prefer ~50L packs for 2-3 day hikes so this seems ideal (but they don't have my size). Osprey is considered one of the higher end brands in backpacking products.

I ordered it from sportchek.ca and the 10% email coupon worked.

Teach me your ways for a 50l on a 3 day hike! I can fill my aura 65 for an overnighter Face With Tears Of Joy

Buy a compression sack for your sleeping bag, take dehydrated food and a water filter and load your tent and poles separately (I strap my tent poles to the outside of my bag). I would consider myself almost an ultralight hiker, which just means I take too little, always regret forgetting something and end up shivering at night.

I personally use a North Face Terra 50L and I love it. I have a 75L that I'll take if I need to carry more water, food or gear for someone else.

edit: Oh it's actually on sale right now if anyone's interested: https://www.sail.ca/en/the-north-face-t ... 0-l-465159. SAIL ships out of Quebec so it's only 5% tax charged on online purchases too.

68L is way too big. I need a 45L or smaller (40L) for carry-on.

What height is this pack size for? I have a 15 years old MEC bag I may retire as it's a bit heavy though durable.

This is a backpacking pack, not a carry on.

No one said it was.

The last hunt cleared out most of their osprey packs.
Most were 55 off.
