LucidT wrote: Alex did an amazing job with my car(another genesis). I chose the basic wash&wax package to get car cleaned before i put it away for storage, i opted for the interior vacuum instead of the wax and to clean and dress the summer tires instead of the winters that are on the car. I was really happy with the work that he had done and he was very detailed in explaining everything that he had done to the car(going part by part and explaining the process) and what else needs to be done to maintain the car(sealants for the wheels and other things). I will definitely be taking my car back to him once it is out of storage to do a full detailing. Unfortunately i do not have any pictures of the car after the cleaning, did not have my camera with me and the phone pic will not justify the work that Alex to did the car. Hopefully he can post some.

P.S Gotta give the man props for working in the freezing cold. :D :D
Hey Lucid,

Thank you for coming by and having me work on your vehicle.

It was great to give it a nice clean up before being put away for the next few months.

At least the car is clean and tucked away nicely now. When Spring rolls around, you can just jump in and drive off in a clean vehicle.

Hopefully when it comes out to play in the Spring we'll be able to fix up the paint and have it shine like crazy in the sun.

Thumbnails can be clicked and expanded! It's so hard to go through the current thread to see your great work when I'm scrolling nonstop. :)

I also need an appointment for April of next year, too early (or late) to book? :)

"In my search for a car detailer, I stumbled upon this post in RFD. As I was planning on selling my car, I wanted to make sure I brought it to a place that would do a good job. After seeing some of the earlier posts and people's testimonials, I decided to give Alex a call. He offered to meet with me first to provide a quote and explanation on what the detailing services would include. He was professional and flexible in finding a suitable time to meet my schedule. I have to say he did an excellent job and upon picking up my car, he went over in detail everything he had done. I would highly recommend him and would surely use him again on my next detailing."

Thank you "M" for the testimonial. She is an RFD member but I'm unsure of her username here.

It was awesome to work on an Audi. Haven't done one in a while, the fit and finish is very nice on these cars. I especially liked the center console and the design of the controls.

I appreciate you trusting me to bring the car to it's current state, may the new owner enjoy it as much as you did.

Hopefully your vehicle finds a new home soon. It's got a lot of great things going in its favour: TDI, diesel fuel, low mileage, very excellent condition, responsible owner, and its also clean!

The Subaru would have been nice but the Flex is a nicer vehicle in every way except for the AWD system (the Subaru probably has it beat in that department.) I did not want to deal with that awful stick-on, fake wood trim that the previous owner installed in the Subaru so it dropped off my shopping list.

I took a couple pictures in the sunlight today to share with someone else:

+1 for Alex. Did a fantastic job on my 2012 328i. Alex meticulously cleaned everything inside out. He definitely did a better job than car dealerships. My car shined more than when i first bought it brand new! See you after winter Alex!

Thanks again

Hi timberland1,

Thank you for letting me work on your baby. It is a very nice looking vehicle. The gear selector is really cool in the newer cars.

Hopefully you also got a chance to purchase new mats as well, b/c those OEM ones won't help at all in the winter months.

It was cool to see the changes in the sport package with the black trim and blacked out exhaust tips. I've seen it on a 335is as well.

Enjoy the vehicle and I look forward to seeing you again as well, after winter. Take care.

This car is also a transport for dogs. I think at one point, it was a Dalmatian dog, and now, I forget which type of dog travels in the car. Pet hair for any matter (especially Dalmatian hair which is "short and spiky") is difficult to remove.

Hi everyone, I just met Alex personally yesterday to get a few detailing products. Not only was he knowledgeable in detailing, he was also extremely helpful in explaining the different products that could be used on my car. Alex uses all boutique products meaning its not your typical over the counter stuff. The products I bought from him are items that I have never heard but once I searched it online, they were all professional detailing material. I ended up getting Clay bars, Clay lube, High quality micro fibre towels and a drying towel. He definitely gave me a deal for all the items not including the time and explaining the proper instructions on using each item. I felt like I was taking an Intro to Detailing Class. After getting the products, we went outside to check out my car and he quickly revealed all the swirls and hairline scratches on my car. After his explanation is when I realized I have been using wrong products and improper techniques which resulted to spider webs all over my car. I thought the deal was going to take maximum 10 minutes but it ended up being an hour and half, that's how extensive Alex was explaining to me. He never really advertised his products and services but rather teaching me how to properly prep and maintain the car which is key to detailing. Once the weather gets warmer, I'm definitely gonna find Alex for a detail before hitting the summer.

Thanks Alex I'm gonna attack it on my own first and then bring it to you after. :D

I picked up my car two weeks ago from Alex after having him do the Paint Correction II and Interior Detail since this 2010 Corolla was in pretty bad shape. It was in much worse condition than a typical car so the paint correction took two to three times as long as it should have. Next time I'm going to listen Alex and make sure it never goes through any non-touchless wash ever again. I'm really pleased with the work he did. The exterior looked great after pickup. A day and night difference. It was even more amazing that he was flexible enough in his scheduling including working outside his regular times just because the car needed so much work to bring it up to shape. The interior detailing also took longer than a typical case because of my dog's hair. Afterwards, the inside looked better than new.

I'm writing this review now because I just got back from a follow up wash with Alex to make sure all's good after all the attention it needed. The day I picked it up two weeks ago it was too cold to give it a wash. It now just shines in the sun and looks wonderful. As mentioned in all the other reviews Alex takes great care to explain every detail so I can keep the car looking great.

I would definitely recommend Alex's services, even to myself, since I have another car scheduled in a couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks Alex!

Hey Everyone!

After literally going through this whole thread reading and seeing pictures of Alex's work I decided I wanted him to detail my car. I recently purchased a Scion FR-S and I wanted it to be opticoated for the extra protection. Booking was quite simple, a few e-mails and Alex was quite prompt and courteous about everything. Alex has a great eye, he was able to see all the damage the dealer did to my cars clear coat, it was a wreck. After a few days I came to pick up the car, it was extremely gorgeous! A week after picking it up I came back for a follow up wash. He showed me proper techniques for washing and gave me a lot of product information.

He's very knowledgable and extremely friendly/outgoing. I totally recommend him.
