Audi E-Tron EV delayed four weeks for software bug

Doesn't bode well. You have to wonder if they really have their best and brightest on this thing, or if it's yet another token effort at EVs. This is on top of the news you won't be able to see, test drive or buy one at any Audi dealership. Hilarious but a bit sad.

The delay only affects delivery to dealers apparently, not delivery to actual customers.

Audi have also said there will be vehicles to test drive. They will need to be custom ordered however, which in Europe is pretty standard for all vehicles. It's also pretty standard for EV's in North America.

Also worth pointing out that you have to custom order Tesla's too, which take several months to be delivered AND you couldn't test drive a Model 3 for the first 6 months of production. That was for the same reason, why have inventory sitting on dealer lots when you are going to be selling every "custom" ordered vehicle you make anyway.

This will be over $90,000 in Canada. It wouldn't have been eligible for the rebate anyway.
