Automotive battery charger fuse replacement

I need to replace an internal fuse on an old Motomaster battery charger. The fuse is a solder on glass fuse and the only mark I see on it is SB 658. The only info I can tell about this fuse is it is a "slow blow" fuse and I have no idea of the amperage. The charger is a 6A charger so I am wondering what type and size of fuse I can use to replace it.

Should I solder on a fuse holder or buy a fuse with axial leads and solder it on?

Pigtail fuse will be the cheaper method.
Can you look up the model and see what the recommended fuse it requires?

Then it may be best to install with a fuse holder for easy swaps if blows again.
