What makes Honda's hard to service? Not talking about big repairs.Bigboy16 wrote: ↑ For me, i stick to the big 5.
GM, Ford, Ram, Toyota, Honda.
Toyota - if you want the most reliability in every direction, but don't give a shit about anything else. They look ugly, drive poorly. Only smaller Toyota's are worth - they don't spend much time into the larger vehicles.
Honda - Better than Toyota, a little less reliable, but gets much nicer. I've put a question mark on Honda since the 1.5L and the issues with there CRVs, Accords. I would only buy their Civic, Accord. Seats are not comfy though so that's a bug minus.
Ram - hella nice interior and the hemi is pretty good. I don't trust Ram/Chrysler too much though. I would only buy their Ram 1500 or Durango or possibly 300.
Ford - Nicer handling cars, very techy, generally decent coyote engine. I would only buy their Fusion, Edge, F150.
GM - i've had great reliability personally with them (running a 3800 engine on a Pontiac Grand Prix for 15 years and never had an issue other than TPMS). The engines are bullet proof (except for the 1.5L but i don't care for it much anyways). The truck interiors need an upgrade but solid vehicles. I peg GMs reliability fairly high for the larger engines.
Edit:
GM and Toyota are fairly easy to work on, so thats a big plus. Ford and Honda are probably the worst.
I avoid German cars like the plague.

I've found that cars like the Accord are great, any car with a larger engine (say a V6 accord) is super tight to take stuff out, or to access a part.alanbrenton wrote: ↑ What makes Honda's hard to service? Not talking about big repairs.
Toyota oil filters suck though. Wish they just came complete in canisters instead of just the inner element.

I like German especially Volkswagen. They are reliable provided they are maintained properly. Refined and reliable comparatively to the American cars.Bigboy16 wrote: ↑ For me, i stick to the big 5.
