Awkward TV Mounting Idea

Hi everyone, recently purchase a condo and would like input on potentially mounting a tv on like a half wall. Picture attached.

I was thinking putting an extended arm from the 90 degree angle such that the tv would just be covering a little of the heating unit. Current tv there is about 30 inches. I would keep a tv shelf to be about the same as right now.

Am I the only one confused? Are you planning on moving the TV towards the balcony and mount it where half of the TV where the vent is and the other half sticking out?

Ahh.. You should explain that your second picture is a top down view.

Seems like the right solution to me.

Most articulating arms will turn 90 degrees, so shouldn't be a problem. The advantage with that over coming straight out of the farther wall is that you could get closer to the exterior wall.

I think that would like fine, not like you have many options if you want to go with a larger TV.

Even if OP wanted a larger TV, I don't think OP has a choice to go too large. Doesn't look like like there's enough adequate distance.
