250gb was 150 on Newegg.ca so this seems good too.

Does BH shipping hit you with duties?

Not bad. How does BH handle warranties? Concerns are about cross-border warranty, and Samsung warranty in general.

sadly I don't think my PC can use those.

I have a ASUS Maximus VI Hero and 100% I have no slot. Could someone recommend an adapter worth while buying for one of these. Man if I had this vs my current basic SSD Evo I would be flying :)

You can use this to add an M.2 NVMe PCI-e SSD to your computer if you don't have a slot built-in:

I found out though I might not be able to use it as a boot drive sadly if my Mother Board does n ot handle PCI booting and I don't think mine can. I guess I will wait till my next big upgrade in the fall.

I ordered the 500 GB 960 EVO from B&H today for 199.99 USD + $27 duty. Roughly $290 at today's exchange rate. Cheaper than anywhere I saw in Canada, because it's not currently on sale anywhere.

This drive is quite a bit faster than other NVMe drives outside of the 960 Pro, which costs 50% more and offers marginally better performance. It's worth noting that most 500 GB drives offer faster performance than their identical 256 GB and 128 GB variants.

Everyone is confusing duties with taxes. There are no duties on this item and if you pre pay tax with B&H you save the huge brokerage fees ups or purolator would charge instead b&h charges $1.
