When a similarly sized 4th floor condo and equal maintenance fees in an older building on Parliament can sell for the same price, this seems unspectacular for a unit soaring 53 stories higher in a younger building located in the most desirable part of the financial and entertainment district.

Fair enough, I guess I never realized half a million doesn't even get you a bedroom anymore.

You can actually still get a 1 bedroom 500-600sf for that or less in several buildings of c1, c2, e1, e2, w1, w2, w3, w4, they just don't pop up often.

That ICE condo tower is notorious for AirBnB. That unit would probably be PRIME for AirBnB.

The guy who bought it, if he chooses to do AirBnB, would make fistfuls of cash... all year long.

Yea I have a condo very close to there facing the lake. I was getting $3000 a month with very little effort. I didn't even take nice pictures. I did longer stays only so I didn't have to go often.

Also, I really hate that building I am surprised it would sell so fast and well.

Looks like they got approx 1k/Sq.ft. which is on par or below pre-construction pricing in the area, while removing all the uncertainty that comes with it. So in that sense, it wasn't a bad deal for the buyer.

Building looks cool from the outside but Lanterra is such a cheap builder IMO. Go to any of their buildings. They look cheap and dated on the inside.

This building is in a great location though. Great investment.
