Backflow Preventer

I'm installing an in-ground sprinkler system on my front yard and from what I understand I need to install a backflow preventer. There're complex ones and simple ones..

So I'm just wondering if I use this type below from HD, or the Pressure Vacuum Breakers that I couldn't find anywhere on HD website...

Irrigation systems are moderate hazards and as such require a Double Check Valve Assembly, Pressure Vacuum Breaker, or Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker.

Check your codes, I believe in the Mississauga/Toronto area it states "double check valve".

Thank you all for your replies. In Halton, there are two types of preventer mentioned on their website

* Reduced Pressure Principle Assembly (RP)
* Double Check Valve Assembly (DCVA)

but I couldn't find any place sells these things.

Except eBay or websites in the states.

I'm only familiar with Orbit brand-they do offer a DCVA. if your Home Depot doesn't carry they can order it in, its about $60. Some of the better irrigation brands have backflow preventers built into manifolds, on the water entry side....if your area requires a double valve I guess that's of no use.
