It's crazy how the specs are WAY better than the Pixel 5 for pretty much the same price.
This seems like a really good deal if you play games on your phone alot.
Since I don't play games on my phone, I'm still going with the Pixel 5...but a part of me wishes I had this on the side :D
Google Pixel 8 • Nothing Ear (2) • Pixel Buds Pro
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D • Asus ROG Strix B550-F • Asus TUF 3080 RTX • 32GB Kingston HyperX 3600MHz

This regularly hits 750-760 on ALI but you only have to pay like $2 for shipping and there's no tax since it goes post instead of DHL

Can we trust BangGood and AliExpress with premium phones? I usually just buy under 10$ items that take several weeks to arrive.

I end up not playing games because I'm too slow to aim and shoot so I always die.

..yet for some reason I really, really want this phone.

Must.. Resist..

/maybe I can get it on CL for $500 after a year or two :(

you will get your phone 100%, but if something is wrong with it, will be a pain in the ass to return since seller is in china

Are there any NA sellers of this? I assume ASUS will sell it direct? I've been looking at getting into mobile gaming with xCloud going live.

If this was available locally I would have bought this right now as an impulse buy.

Don't want to wait 1-2 months for a package I may not even want it or will want something else by the time it arrives

I would love to have this phone for battery alone but I don't trust those websites nor their delivery times.

Camera is bad on this one, so for most people the Pixel 5 is a better phone. It's more of a niche phone for phone gamers.

very pretty i just have so little interest in game. I will withhold my rant about things I DO want in a phone that noonne want to delivery anymore.

So is this the A version? The 4G bands look solid and it has 5G. And of course dual sim!

I don't know why everyone is focusing on the "gaming" phone. A Samsung S20/Ultra has better specs than this (and is twice as expensive). Wouldn't that be an even better "gaming" phone? Last time I checked, there were a LOT of RFD'ers who bought the S20 Ultra when Samsung was giving 25% off, but still making it 50% more expensive than this phone. You guys must be some really hardcore "gamers" to order such a expensive "gamer" phone (S20Ultra) with the specs to play those games.

Or is a phone specifically for gamers when it's only marketed as such?

As for this phone, I'm waiting to see if it shows up at Staples. That's where I bought my last ASUS which I still use and it's still very solid for the past almost 4 years.

Believe the ROG line up of phones has a much more robust cooling system built in for heat dissipation on long gaming sessions. It would also just be helpful in hot climates I guess.

I prefer BG, as they offer PayPal as a payment option.
My current Mi9t phone was ordered from BG and it arrived in 2 weeks.

I was comparing this to the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 phone but for $100 or so more this is better specced.
Although I wonder if the picture quality is at least decent.

I would not recommend to buy anything more than $100 especial computer/cell phone/electrical products from oversea websize even US website, the warranty is null even they say life time warranty but the shipping will cost u more than the product.
Never again! HTC , Wind Mobile , Air China

I'm in this thread because I just found out about this phone. I will probably not order from Ali or BG, but I'll start following this phone and see where I can buy it in Canada so I can have the warranty if needed. ASUS website doesn't even have a buy button to show the partners who sell it. Bad marketing part imo
