End of nowhere
Pre-order, you should put in the title...

Aliexpress sells it at roughly same price.

Will there be a Pro Global version of this??
Xiaomi said no pro global but who knows with those guys. They marketed this phone with an amazing camera too but it is only available on a China and India pro model that don't have adequate Canadian bands. A lot of people are very annoyed about the bait and switch and lack of a pro model with more internationally useful bands like b4 and b20. I know that's what I had been waiting for, or at least the regular 7 global if it had the amazing Sony camera sensor.

There seems to be some confusion about this posting and the Pro version.

The pro version has a better processor but does not have B4 and B7. Hence why the pro version is not considered "global".

This listing has a weaker processor but the necessary bands. Hence it is called a "global" version.

Every time I am tempted by Xiaomi, i get so confused with the bands and different models that I end up abandoning the idea.
Can't they just take a bit more time to market those properly or at least list clearly what's compatible where? Calling a version global that actually isn't? lol
I guess this is why you pay so little for your phone!

It only became confusing, when several post above started mentioning a "PRO" version, when the title does not mention it whatsoever.
Blame the posters who are adding to the confusion.

Its not so simple as you think. I agree it does definitely get confusing though.
Every different carrier in every different country has different requirements.
Bell vs Telus vs Rogers, and the big cities vs boonies - there are many different bands when you look at the big picture.

Its more because they actually couldn't give a damn about the Canadian market because we are minuscule.
Their China and India market are about 1000 times the size of Canada's

Hey, we're on RFD - a part of finding a deal is the digging part, otherwise we'd be paying full price for full service!
