I've always wanted to try Diablo 3. The standard edition isn't on sale right now, only the Eternal Collection, which is a bit more than I'd like to spend on the game for now. My question is : Is the standard edition ever on sale or is it always the collection one?

I don't think so. I bought the original and the first expansion. Was planning to get the third one on sale at some point when they suddenly removed it as a separate purchase option. I don't want to buy the whole trilogy again. Blizzard isn't exactly the smartest when it comes to games and expansions.

Super annoying that if you buy a game like modern warfare, then you can only use that same blizzard/activision account for multiplayer (and campaign). Why it couldn't work like on consoles?

Same thing here. I think I will just quit trying to finish all campaigns. They are loosing a lot of sales because of this in my opinion.

I got Starcraft Remastered. It's all right, but a bit hard to play considering all the UI and mechanical updates standardized in SCII

Thanks OP, I was wanting to play through Legacy of the Void for some time now and I never managed to buy the expansion alone when it was being sold physically.
