Bought one today, easy pickup at Burlington office. Case has several scratches, screen and keyboard/trackpad clean. Installed Win10 pro, auto activated. Many firmware's (bios, intel, trackpad, ssd) - installed office 365, 25 gig used.

WQHD touch screen is a treat, glass touch pad, incredible build quality - nothing new to those familiar with X1 carbon's - new to me, very nice.

Returned an ASUS VivoBook Flip TP401MA, paid $170 more for a 3 year old machine, could not be happier with the choice.

Thanks OP!

Let's be clear again, folks.

This is a solid build, solid chassis, solid design, and the price is alright.

It's not a hot deal, but it's good value for money.

God bless.

I just pulled the trigger too, will provide a review once I receive mine!

25GB is a bit too much, I think you can run disk cleanup and free up a couple GB of space.
Bitcoin will crash hard.

So can anyone inform me where the "warmer" deals can be found (PM welcome if this is private)? I've mostly been looking for an X1, but also open to a T-Series. Perks seems to always be over my budget and I missed the black friday deals on the main site. My Kijiji is kind of quiet in this area and I'm not too trusting of it anyway. I've seen some refurbs from sellers on eBay and I've been thinking of just getting one from the US.

However if you are patient you can score deals like this https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1WH43U-HP-Elite ... 2ce25ad210
For a better value (7th Gen i5, 512SSD, 8GB RAM, Business Laptop)
that has no HD, and how much does it cost? seems like great cpu and vid card tho for gamers?

eBay autoredirected to another listing than the one he provided. This one it says the system won't power on.

FHD = Full HD = 1080P - so yes it is HD.

This is a business laptop, and is not meant for gaming. A giveaway is the form-factor or the 'U' part of meaning Ultra Lower Power of the CPU. X1 is not going to be better at all compared to this.

Nevermind @huntclub is right seems like it auto-redirects.

I have got a t480 20L5000WUS for sale. $790 tax included. I bought it on 28th December from Newegg and stacked it with 15% ebay discount.

- 1366x768 screen is horrible. Only buy it if you are very old or you wanna do the fhd mod.
-no backlit keyboard.

Lemme know if anyone needs it or it goes back to newegg.

I got on Christmas IdeaPad 330S for $750 (i7,8Gig,256SSD,15.6 FHD screen, 2 year warranty from Costco). I decided against going after 3 year old premium laptop and just got brand new with warranty. It does not feel premium or super rugged like T series but for that money, I cannot complain.
