Was browsing BBR and it looks like the HD800s and a couple others are back on sale until May 14th. You can order online as their store is closed due to COVID but I think you may have to message or call to place the order for the HD800s

Also HD660s are on for $520

EDIT:Looks like they raised prices by $50 and $100 on the 800s and 820 respectively.

Damn, don't forget you'll need the Sennheiser Audiophile HDV820 Headphone Amplifier for $2499 as well. So it's be searing $5K for headphone setup.

Good deal on the 660s, $520+tax is the cheapest that I've seen for new. Tested them out in their Sennheiser concept store in SF and they sound beautiful!

I think you could get by for far less, a solid $500-$700 DAC/AMP combo should do the trick

Price is in title, those who come in here just to balk at the price go troll somewhere else. People, even rich people buy things on sale, why click onto a thread for 2000+ dollar headphones and complain that 2000+ dollar headphones exist? Its redflagdeals, not redflagdealstailoredtowhatIcanafford. The sale seems good by percentage and by brand, so while I haven't tracked the historic price for it, deal gets a +1 from me.

Just an FYI these are about as cheap as these headphones get in Canada and because of our weak dollar they are effectively priced under US MSRP.

Someone at BBR read this post and raised the price.
Was at this price since last week and within an hour of posting they raise the price.
Not a good look guys.

yeah the 660s is only 150 ohm so if you have a good phone/ good onboard audio you can hold off til you get a good deal on a dac/amp

If you like the sound profile of the 660's then you should get Drop's HD6xx for about $200 usd, practically identical and you can use the leftover money to order Dekoni pads and pocket the rest.

I have the 660s, great headphones. I got it for $600 awhile back, this is a good deal. It's nice to see it drop in price; wish I held out.

And lol at the people trashing the price. Do you laugh at people buying cars or houses out of your price range too? Or bottles of alcohol in the thousands that you can drink in one night? There's the finer things in life, and Sennheiser high end headphones for audiophiles are one of them.

I don't think so. If I didn't already own a HD650, I would take the drop 6XX over the 660s, its not the same but for half the price its pretty close.
