Reviews on the website say it's pretty good (and warm).

Threadcount has nothing to do with warmth. Threadcount is how fine the weave is, a higher count means more weaves (usually but not always means silkier feel as well) and less likely the filling will seep through the shell. This is usually more important for down and feather filling.

Sounds more like a comforter than a duvet. Doesn't a duvet need to be filled with feathers? This is a polyester fill, just like my old Dukes of Hazard comforter when I was a kid (man, I miss that thing).
