BC property assessment incorrect info

For my house; year built should be 2019 instead of 2017
Sqaure feet should be 3,000 instead of 3,329

Should I ask BC assessment to correct this? would this increase or decreaes my assessed property value?

I'd correct it if only to avoid a possible problem when selling -- imagine one seller seeing different information on your listing and on the BC assessment.

As far as value is concerned, I don't think it'll make a big difference. Maybe a small decrease given the decrease in square footage.

waterloo, on
Higher sq ft will increase assessment so better to get it corrected.
