Does anyone know of an option that handles electric baseboard heaters and also cooling from a central ac system in summer? My current White Rodgers thermostat is programmable and does that but it's not smart.

I wonder if that makes the price of https://www.sinopetech.com/en/product/s ... -w-zigbee/ drop from $90 to $50 each
Good sleuthing, I'll update the original post to indicate it is a BC Hydro/Fortis BC rebate $40 off for electric heating thermostats. I tested adding 2 Sinope thermostats (to get free shipping), total came out to $104.90 online, so $52.45 tax in for each thermostat

My electric baseboard heating control setting is on the actual baseboard, no remotes or anything (Dimplex brand).

Anyone know of any smart thermostat for these kinds of electric baseboard heaters? My hydro bill is killing me. Its so annoying to program the temperature of each room since the control is on the baseboard. help?!

I don't understand how this rebate works in-store. Is this a rebate that is taken at the store-level? Or is it like a mail-in-rebate where I fill out a form on my hydro website and get a credit on my bill or something?

For specifics, I'm looking to purchase another Stelpro Maestro thermostat (white) likely in-store from Canadian Tire.

If you go to Sinope store https://www.sinopetech.com/en/boutique/, click on the last item on the left, they list the few products that are eligible for rebates.

I ordered 3 Sinopes last month because my electrical bill is killing me... I could have used these rebates then.

Thanks OP (and BC Hydro) ! I've just order 4 Sinope Zigbee for $189 tax included. Sinope also has a deal on 4-pack thermostat for $240, with rebates they only cost $80 + tax, but those require their own hub.

how did you get the rebates to work? I tried to add 3 TH1124ZB to the cart, but I didn't see the rebates applied even.

Did you go to the checkout phase ? After you fill in billing/shipping details, the rebates should show up, no code needed.

Anyone else having trouble getting this instant rebate?

I've added eligible products and entered my BC address on sinopetech.com, but they aren't applying the discount. I press "Place Order" and it brings me to PayPal, still without the discount. Do I have to complete the transaction to see the rebate applied? I'm a bit worried it won't be applied.

The Shell one was a doozy as well... such a huge range of emotions through the thread: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/shell-sa ... d-2316232/

Essentially 10% back when you spend $50 on your mastercard. In true RFD form, everyone jumped onto buying gift cards and the promo ended 2 months early.. lol.
