None of EOS 'deals' seem to be BOXING DAY deals. They are just a re-spin of last week's prices.

Having the Sh!!!ttiest after sale 'service' (or call it harrasment) priceless..

Lol, I think we already established that..hence they didn't bother with the flyers or updating their online store.. "too much work" as i recall.
As i pointed out to them before, their pricing was similar and in some instances higher than FS pre-boxing specials. Despite being a small mom n pop store, they COULD have beaten FS pricing, but just pulled the same stunt as other big retailers.

HF100 is $599.99 now at TigerDirect.ca (+$1.99 shipping).
HG20 is good though at $699.99 and worth the extra $100 over HF100 (imo) and an absolute no-brainer vs. HF100 at 659.99!!

What do folks think about the Cybershot W125 (Black)(REFURBISHED) above? Seems like a good deal. Second place in DPReview's budget camera showdown.

The HG20 has been that price since last month though at AdenCamera, so it isn't anything special..

I would have picked up the HG20, but I got the HF100 at 549.99 and I couldn't justify the difference at that price.

LOL - is this a "Boxing Day" sale? WOW - LOL - this is so pathetic...

The G10 at $440 is what FutureShop had it and still has it in store.

The 20-700 f4 for Canon is more expensive - than other places in Canada...

LOL - this is so sad...

Maybe so. I'd never heard of the place until yesterday. Still though, as far as I can tell, it still beats anywhere else.

I'll chip in something positive - the Nikon 18-200 for 689.99 is a good price - lowest price I have seen since the price hikes is 719.99 at www.thecamerastore.com - Henry's has it at the bargain price of 749.99. The USD is hurting Canadian consumers hard on this kind of gear now - a lot of retailers dont carry large stock volumes on glass for instance so their current stock is already bearing the effect of a weaker CAD.

I'll SECOND that...

and be careful when buying lenses from them too. I've had bad experiences with Canon's 50 1.8f...i got 5 lemons from them. one after one after another.

what happened was, they "knew" it was lemons because when i brought it in for exchange for 3rd time, they did not asked me to test it out before leaving, instead, they just put the new lens into a bag and handed it to me. I came back for the 4th time, and 5th time was a store credit.

[found out after doing some research]

CAnon's 50 f1.8 are known for quality control problems and i believed other buyers tested first before buying it and left behind all the lemons and they used me as scarp goat for returning it to Canon.

Blackphoto is IMO, has the best customer service.

as for price, i believe Aden has the best price...I just got Vistek's boxing flyers and it's cr*p. they're selling Nikon D90 w/ 18-105 VR for 1299$ and it's limited !!!

I can't find the first in the Sears flyer (only the W150 for $189.99); the second is for the W110, which is below the W125. Any other comments on the deal?

Where did you get the HF100 for 549? I couldn't find it cheaper than 599 anywhere and I'm about to buy one...

I've heard nothing but sh*tty reviews for adencamera (however prices seemed decent)

I was considering driving down to the one on steels after my 12 hour night shift to get the 17-55 2.8 Nikon for ~1200 but am quite hesitant in purchasing an item this expensive from this store after reading about all the service complaints. I think I would much rather pay $100, get it from henrys (or possibly get it price matched) and have peice of mind knowing I won't get yelled at by a dude with white hair.
