I was browsing The Bay looking for a gift for my wife (birthday) when I came across this gem!
From what I can tell, this is a jacket made from the bear that was featured in The Revenant.
The fur is black, and I know the bear from The Revenant was a brown Grizzly, but I believe that color change was done in post production.
This is a great deal for 3 reasons:
1. Typically bears don't like it when someone tries to take their skin. This makes them very ill-tempered. This jacket allows you to skip the pesky part of actually acquiring the skin from the bear.
2. This is not just any bear, it's the actual bear from The Revenant!
3. 50% off! That brings the price of this amazing piece to a scant $1,887.50!
I don't know how many of these jackets they were able to make. I think a grizzly pelt would probably be big enough to make at least a handful of these beauties!
