becoming a Professiona Engineer in the US if already P.Eng in Ontario?

If I have my P.Eng in ontario, how difficult is it to become a Professional Engineer in the US?

The US seems to have a more difficult examination procedure; Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination (PE) compared to Ontario. Both the US and Canada require 4 years of experiencing practising under a Professional Engineer.

Can anyone verify what the requirements are for a Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario to become licensed in the United States (specifically New York State)?

Check the board requirement. It is unlikely you can bypass the FE and PE exam. After the exam, you will need three PE references which means you need a job first.
