[Bed Bath And Beyond] Breville The Smart Oven Pro Convection Oven - $236.79 (20% off coupon required)

Bed Bath and Beyond has the Breville Smart Oven Pro convection oven on sale for $295.99. If you are on their subscriber list and have one of those 20% off coupons, the coupon can be applied to this item and you can get it for $236.79. You will eventually get a 20% off coupon if you sign up, but it's not instant / may take some days to show up It appears there may be a method to signup and use a 20% coupon right away - please see the second post below, thanks to @LDN2012. I recall reading that you can also try calling for a discount code?

There is an option for a discount if you do ISPU via a popup on their home page, but that's only 15% and not 20%. In that case, the price becomes $251.59.

This is the model I purchased 6 years ago, been using it nearly every day for baking, roasting, still working but started to make some noisy sound when heating up, which is not affecting its performance at all. Recommend!

Tried to get the air fryer version from Williams Sonoma's 'pricing error', but had my ordered cancelled. I'm tempted to get this one, but it would mostly be to replace the same unit with a broken fan and because it's starting to look kind of gross. I'm not really sure if that's worth it since it's probably going to have the same fan issue.

Anyone know of any toaster ovens with similar quality and price but without the fan issue?

I bought a BOV845BSS in 2016 and while I'm not entirely sure when the fan died, I suspect it was around the 2-3 year mark as well.

That sounds like the fan attempting to spin up and failing. Have a look at what it looks like and turn it on and off and see if that changes things?

Oh mine is starting to make that fan noise when starting up too, but then it goes away after a while... and the oven seems to wrok prefect, this is the only thing stopping me from replacing it, the fact it still works. Kind of hard to justify replacing a 300 dollar item cuz it makes a bit of noise starting up....

Thanks. Ordered. My convection fan died a few months ago and I’ve been waiting for this to go on sale.

Just noticed the Aeropress thread has someone that seems to have been able to stack another 20% coupon from buybuybaby.
So total of 40% off.
Anyone try it on this?

I’m in the same boat, the fan issue went away when the temp reached desired set-up, I will hold off replacing it until it fully dies, 6 years of nonstop usage, I think I got the most out of it. It still works, hahah

Why not get the fan replaced.. Just saying. They're usually ten dollar parts.

I have the same oven for 3 year and the fan just died. I won't recommend any breville oven.

While this is a good deal and a great oven, I would still recommend people get the model with steam function, it literally is a game changer.

Have a look at the process involved in replacing the fan if you can even find where to order it.

Unfortunately the competition just doesn’t make anything that’s as compact as this one.
Cuisinart and Delonghi ovens are several inches bigger. There’s also a Chinese brand but it’s also too big and gets poor reviews for its controls.
So if you’re in need of a decent fully functional counter top oven this is the only choice.
I treat them as a disposable item and just know I’ll be replacing it every few years.

This. I disassembled mine - it took over an hour to get to the fan.
The fan seems to be welded to the side panel and it’s not available as a part. I looked for ways to fix the fan.
The bearings are fine so think windings have a short. As far as I could tell there’s no way to redo the windings because the motor is welded to the panel.
