[Bed Bath And Beyond] Henckels Five Star Knife Block Set 269.99-20%=240 approx.

They also have the five star set which looks like it has a better block, and i'm assuming better knives? this is is 269.99-20% bringing it to approximately 240 dollars after tax if you're a BC resident like me. Here is a link to the 5 star:

https://www.bedbathandbeyond.ca/store/p ... d=henckels

The 20% coupon can of course be acquired simply by signing up to their newsletter via email, and you can go in store and have them place an online order using that coupon. Free shipping on orders above 50 dollars so this qualifies.

I searched the forum to see if this was a repost recently because I know the old one expired. Thanks!

Edit: credit to reply number seven, "uberclk". He provided the following link which will offer you 20% off one online item. Saving yourself the trip of going into the store if you can't, or don't want to! Throw him a thanks for that if you want, pretty great find!

I edited out the four star deal as it has ended. The five star set is left.

I was just playing around, always someone who comes to “critique” the deal.

I’m not fully educated on these knives but last time it seemed like these were a really popular item due to thr quality of the knives.

Both the four and five star sets have great user reviews. Was just about to settle for the five star and then the four came outa nowhere.

I’m not sure how many they have, but yesterday I was able to add 100 to my cart.

Has anybody been able to get the discount to apply? It's not showing up and I don't want to submit the order before knowing it will.

Call in and they will process it for you, no problem.

They have a 24 hour call center, wait was minimal and the people on the other end seemed more than willing to make it work.

We've had a Four Star set for about 8 yrs now -- haven't had any problems. Ours has an additional Santoku knife and was bought on-line from the US for a little over $200 all-in and I haven't seen many deals that have come close since then, so I think this is a pretty good price.

Seemed like majority of the people from the last thread share your experience.

I’m embarrassed at the knives I’ve been using lol.

I'm a bit confused and google isn't helping.
From what I can tell the only difference between Zwilling® J.A. Henckels Four and Five Star are the handles?

I do need a decent knife set, can anyone with some expertise weigh in? Is there much difference between this series and the Pro?

Can one sharpen these themselves or do they need to be brought in to sharpen professionally?

Yes the blades are the same quality among the top JA henckels lines. The five star has an improved handle. https://www.williams-sonoma.com/pages/c ... rc=OLDLINK shows some of diffs in the pro s/pro/four star build.

To get the 20% discount, can you sign up with any email? Or do you have to use the same discount/account email? I assume potentially having to open a new account?

Knives on display in store, wonder if the improved handles are worth the extra $60?

From the reviews I’d say it’s a no, based solely on the fact that I didn’t see a negative four star review.

I think it comes down to whether or not you gotta have the “best”. Personally, I do like the block on the five star better, but at 60 dollars more, I felt the four star was the better value.

The handles are different on the five star, it's about comfort of holding the knife.
