[Bed Bath And Beyond] HOT! Simplehuman sensor mirror trio $103.20 Orig. $429.99

First time posting, sorry if any info is missing.

Found today during their 70% off clearance happening at Bed Bath and Beyond at Charlottetown; additional 20% off with email coupon. Paid $103.99 plus tax.
I have not tried the mirror but has really good reviews, and looks good out of the box, very sleek and great light settings.

:)

My gawd!!
The mirror's regular price is over $400!?!?

Reminds me of the Dyson hair dryers.

Reviews on simplyhuman site aren't great, not for a $350USD mirror. At least the reviews aren't doctored and raise good points for it's use, which I can respect. Definitely a decent deal at $100 if you need excellent light and portability. Beyond that I think battery operated lit ones can be regularly found at the 30 or less pp on Amazon.

Lol everyone sees this post and thinks it’s an amazing deal...only to quickly realize that even spending $100 on a mirror is too much

Yet people go crazy defending their $100+ trash cans here when you can get the HDX ones at home depot for 50% of the cost and work better for me, even have motion sensor ones.

i remember seeing it on clearance i cant even justify paying $100 for it... and i am a female
it's a mirror with a strip of led lights around....
it's something nice to have when you are doing makeup or maybe you are trying to pop a pimple or 2....
one can definitely live without it

For $400 I'd expect the mirror to have an actual screen built in.

I think if you take make up seriously then a magnifying mirror with adjustable colour temperature is something you should have. It might be expensive for what it is, and I'm sure you could cobble together a similar product for far less, but I view this as an enthusiast product, and like most enthusiast products you get diminishing returns the higher end you go.

Sensor mirror had me intrigued, but if it said motion sensor mirror, which is what it is, I wouldn't have bothered. I expected some Disney-epcot style sensored mirror that read your pulse and guessed your health or something from 15 years ago...

I was expecting the "Magic Mirror" quality from Disney Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes that responds to me when I ask "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who’s the Fairest of Them All?"

This is the exact same as Dyson. The garbage cans are no different.

Had a Nine Stars one w/motion sensors; was horrible, half of the time wouldn't sense anything in front of it but kept mysteriously opening itself at night while hitting the edge of the counter. Had to pull the batteries on it and operate it manually.
