Got a win back from virgins yest,
I ported to Fido for their 50$ 11gb.
Virgin offered 40$ 11gb, and 400$ credit for phone. And 40$ credit for activation fee.
I asked for the 45$ for 25gb. They won’t do it saying offer is based on what company I am with now.

Edit: So does these company know which company you are with now? If one lies on the phone about current company and they offer 45$ for 25gb. Then when they initiate transfer and notice it’s not who I said it is. Would they cancel offer? Or agent would just pretend don’t notice and go ahead?

They probably know who you ported to? I told the rep I ported to freedom but they def don't know anything on my new plan.

I just told them freedom offered me the $39 for 9gb. They got back to me with the $45/25gb winback.

How is the velvet? Worth the full price?

So how did you score the velvet for 3.33 / month extra when it retails $750?

750-400= $350 still on balance.

I was offered the same credit from VIrgin, but I got a 200$ credit per line x 2 from Fido when I ported to them at the start of the Sept on a BYOP plan. Anyone know if I say port back 1 of 2 lines to Virgin from Fido, after a month, Will Fido take away the $200 credit initial offer?

This number works, but I wasn't eligible for the plan unfortunately.

Yes. The reps can see who you ported to so there’s no way around that.

One of the conditions from the Telus deal is you must port a freedom # back so technically it’s a violation of terms of service if you don’t. Since the deal is brand new no one’s sure if they’re going to audit or cancel accts id they don’t fit the criteria.

Guess we’ll see.

Great deal though!

What is the win back number from Virgin? Is it the same number as Bell?

Ported two lines out to Koodo yesterday. Winback offer today of the same plan $75 for 20gbs and $50 for additional line. They did offer $400 device credits.

What are device credits? Are those to be used towards a new device only or are they credit? Do they have to be used right now? I am thinking about doing this. I have 7 lines. So I should be a customer that a company fights for. So Fido offered this? not Koodo?
