[Bell] BELL BYOD $75 20GB plan

Looks like Bell is matching the Telus $75 20GB plan. It's not advertised publicly but it's available in store if you inquire. The plan is for new client and existing client upgrading to a new phone. The promotion will expire on January 27, 2020 and I believe the plan it's $75 permanently NOT $95 plan with monthly credit for $20/24months.

Correction: Just to clarify, for existing clients, it is available if you are upgrading to a new device with financing. I do not think it is simply available if you wish to change your plan.

In Addition: The plan it's available in both Unlimited or Share versions. Both priced at $75

Nice wondering if the EPP discount can be stacked on top of this. Now that would be an awesome deal.

If you mean actual Bell/The Source/Subsidiaries EPP, no, I checked and its a promo price, not eligible for EPP.

Includes shared? That's good to know. I will try get Telus to do the same. They told me no.

It is showing that sub brands are redundant. Koodo could not match any of the recent TELUS or BELL promos. I believe Virgin has nothing astounding too. With nearly every phone with a BYOD plan is a better deal than a plan+phone except the Apple and Samsung TOL. Even a Note 10+ off Amazon and a BYOD would be only $150-200 more.

Bell Chat acknowledged the plan. However, for some reason it "isn't available" to me on their system.

Currently on the BYOD 10GB/$65 plan.

They recommended I call the loyalty department. Will try that later.

So new users are not eligible for this?

If they are, can they finance a phone with this plan?

It’s eligible for second line discount so it would be $75+$65 two lines sharing 40GB. Which is pretty abundant of data for two users

What kills this (and the TELUS) plan for me are the US roaming fees.

For less money you can get a 25GB (8GB rolls over so most months I have 33GB available) prepaid plan with AT&T in the US (USD$50) which has full roaming on Rogers in Canada. I've been on it for months, travelling back and forth but spending more than 50% of my time in Canada with no issues.

Only downside is a US number, which hardly matters these days.

I just came from a Bell store. The guy said it's a BYOD with $20 credit on the regular $95 price.

that's incorrect. the plan is regular priced at $75 and it's also available with device finance SmartPay.
