What is the maximum credit you can get through retentions/loyalty for tv? Assuming you have 3 services. What have you guys been getting?

I pay way more for less Themes and only have 1 HD sports. How did you get this deal? Was it a promo? Thanks in advance.

Looking to get my old 3100 model receiver upgraded to the 6130 with HDMI out. Dont want another PVR since I only have a single cable at this outlet and dont want to have to get another one installed. I will just make the receiever a PVR with a hard drive

Anyway, my 3100 only has an S-video out (currently I think 9 years old) Didnt matter when it was hooked to my old tube TV, but last night moved my HD lcd upstairs and you can really see the picture quality. Text is jagged, etc.

Called Bell but because I get my PVR for free and a great deal already, I cant get the HD receiver for free.

Any tricks anyone can lend me, not in the mood to shell out another $7 a month for rental

I've been calling in yearly since I had the service, once I found out they will negotiate to keep you. I, like everyone else, use the competition as leverage and threaten to leave. Pain the ***** to have to do it yearly but always gets a result. Have to be transferred to retention though.

Has anyone else seen an increase from the Bell TV Basics $30 price to now $31.95?

Called in tonight and retentions gave me 20% off for 1 year. It was fairly easy, just said rogers offered me a better rate. I have no rental equipment and don't need any new equipment so I just wanted a discount.

Anybody try upgrading to Fibe from satellite and get a deal?

I'm on free rentals for two receivers and a bit of a discount on programming. They won't budge on regular Fibe pricing, no discounts for existing customers. Whereas I hear Rogers are pushing people with offers to upgrade to whole home PVRs.

Hello guys, six months ago I got a Bell 9400 HD PVR receiver on a 60 Month free rental promotion; and I see on their website they have rent to own option after 60 Months; so, would I qualify to own the receiver after 60 months even if rental was free?
