Someone knocked on my door on monday to offer me the 3 services with 1.5 Giga speed for 50 or 55 $ a month.
The promo is for 12 months and the original price is like 165 per month.
It also comes with 150$ credit.

It must be by postal code. Very targeted depending on the area. So I presume in the midtown areas, they jack the rates up because of the type of clientele. How discriminating it is if you live in certain areas. Sounds the same as how car insurance rates are set, by postal code.

It does not say for how long the promo prices will work. I'll have to talk to CSR tomorrow. Also it shows home hub 3000 for me.
It is definitely postal code specific.

Typical bell and has to be area specific. Bell does that all the time to capture customers from competitors. For buildings served by Beanfield, they have thrown even better deal. Sometimes price even goes to $30 a month for fibre connections in Beanfield localities. Bell must have got another competition somewhere else besides rogers.

Has anyone who got one of these area code specific deals tried moving the service after (to a non deal area)? Did you get to keep the same monthly or did they remove the discount?

Keep in mind, bell annual $5 increase. Its really sad, they get away will fleecing customers.
You can give a person knowledge, but you can't make them think. Some people want to remain fools because the truth requires change.
