Can someone please tell me the direct phone # for the bell loyalty line? I have tried finding it in the many pages of this tread but can't seem to find any mention of the actual number.

Thanks.
Had 800 789-7723, no idea if still working

Hi, I just found the Retention Dept. @ Bell as follows:

1-866-317-3382

You'll get a CSR but ask to be put through to Retention/Loyalty Dept. ALWAYS ask for RETENTION DEPT.

Go for it.

And Bell TV is going up $3.50 too.

PLUS they've reduced the bundle discounts.

This is what I got last month:

Home phone Basic Package 38.98 24 Month Contract
Home Phone Promotion - 24 months 22.99cr
Touch-Tone Service 2.80
9-1-1 Emergency Service 0.16
Service Area Charge 0.00

Total Changes (before taxes) 18.95

For me is a good deal because VOIP is not yet feasible for my home alarm system connected to monitoring center.

It isn't bad, but the price will go up in November . . . . . be aware.

I know (by $2.01), but 4-5 bucks a year mean $10 for the length of this 2 year agreement. Still under $30 is not bad.
After that maybe VOIP will be good for security system...

The real issue with VoIP is that it is technologically complex and rides on top of a circuit that has no guaranteed minimum performance. It simply cannot be as reliable as POTs.

Sounds good. A little better than the basic package - $18 promotion they offered in Jan, and that was only 12 months.
I was wondering, is home phone the only service you have with them or do you have other services with them?
As I understood it from back then, Bell will give you an extra $5 discount is you have multiple service.
Thanks

On top of that $18.95 there is a $4 bundle discount.
I have all services with them: HP, unltd. 25/10 internet and Fibe tv - Good package with two receivers, all for $86.7 ( price good for two years) - less multiple increases per year!

Just called to renegotiate my parents home phone account and the best I got was $10 off which is way too little coming off the $18 credit. If only I can convince my parents to move completely to cell phone since they have prepaid and home phone which is redundant.

I just did the same thing this morning, $10 off for 6 months.. has anyone else gotten a better deal?
I'm gonna try to convince them to move completely away from the home phone as well, if there isn't any good deals going on.

My wife called in earlier this week. We got the same after just coming off the 1 year promo. Going to switch to TekSavvy's phone service.

No dice, same, just $10 off for 6 months. Garbage.

Went on to do VoIP.
