The Telus and Bell network are basically identical as they share all their towers. Each carrier has their own equipment attached to each tower but the difference in speed between the two carriers is negligible. 5G speed is currently usually slower (by only a little bit) or the same as 4G due to the frequencies being used. 5G will get faster once carriers get the new spectrum that’s being auctioned this year. The only exception is in really congested areas, where 5G might be faster as less people are using it.
