Bell TV outage during NBA finals

so like thousands of people I got disconnected during the last minute of game six and we missed history being made.
I scrambled tried to find a live feed online but it was already too late.
It was very upsetting that something like this could happen, it also happened during game five.
I called Bell to complain, and the outcome? 85 cents credit to my account.
they calculated the credit based on how much I pay for Fibe TV.
After I hanged up, I just started laughing in disbelief.
I just want to share it with you guys, because I think it's funny and upsetting in the same time.

Woohoo 85 cents. What a joke.

Did you not try getting on the Fibe TV webpage or app? Should've worked as the outage must've just been your area.

A friend of mine said he was watching the game on his fibe app and it went down just like the OP said.

Seems the app wasn't immune to the issue

This is why I have bootleg IPTV. $14 a month and still get all the goodies.

Weird. We have Bell and didn't have any issues.

History is made every day, so there's more where that comes from.

What amount would have made you happy?

You mean all channels were off just as the game ended? I would have been livid, epic fail Bell!

I'd call them again and drop that execs name, saying you'll call/email him directly if you don't get a satisfactory response.

"We'll make it right for them."....... 85c?

Wow really? Theres still people that pay $60 a month to Bell and Rogers a month for crappy canadian channels? I pay $30 canadian to DirectTV for 240 channels, ALL sports channel included, about 3 of them were transmitting the Raptors fnals, even a spanish language channel called Univision.

Well as the saying goes, "Theres a sucker born every minute".
