Benefits of Ultraviolet (UV) sanitizers

These are handy devices but keep a few things in mind when you use it:
1) there aren't tested for SARS-CoV2 but they were proved to work with other gems like e.coli. Very useful for those who take their phone to washroom.
2) these devices usually equipped with weaker UV-C LED, you need to expose the device for a longer time for better result.
3) UV-C cannot penetrate dusts and other stains on the device, but It is great for disinfect objects with irregular shape like earbuds, keys.
4) Do not use UV-C wand, UV-C can cause damage to your eye and skin.

You should use it as a secondary disinfection. I use it myself but I always clean my phone with 70% alcohol first.

These are trendy nowadays with COVID-19 on the rise again...
People around you may have weaken immune system (or live with one). Wear a mask if possible, especially if you have cold symptoms.
